Luckily they found a sponsor G.V.K Reddy, chairman of GVK Group, when sania was 13. That Was turning point for sania in her career.
Sania Mirza won Wimbledon championships Girls double tite in 2003 with partnering with Alisa Kleybanova.
At that time Sania Mirza got a wild card entry to the 2005 Australian open and entered in third round of a Grand Slam tournament. She lost in that third round against Serena Williams. In the same year Sania Mirza became the first Indian women to win WTA singles title defeating Alyona Nondarenko of Ukraine in the Hyderabad Open Finals.
